The Loft Lab is the museum’s first room with a genuine second story. It starts from the new two-story starter shell: a mezzanine slab covering roughly half the footprint, a floating staircase climbing to it, and guard rails along both open edges.
Everything you can stand on is authored in Blender as a col_ collision proxy and travels with the GLB — the staircase uses a single inclined collider under the visible steps rather than twenty separate boxes, which is what makes the climb feel smooth instead of bouncy.
The lighting is fully baked. There is not a single realtime light in this room.
